GROUND NUTS/PEANUTS are very good for health. These are very rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals and gives you instant energy. These are usually used in rice items, curries and sweets too.. Today i am sharing with you simple and easy powder prepared with groundnuts.. Usually i prepare different varieties of powders, will post soon.. But this is one of my all time favorite .. U can use in curries, as side dish for dosa n idly n goes yummy with steamed rice.. Try it and enjoy....
Preparation time : 15-20 min
INGREDIENTS
1 cup groundnuts/pallilu
8-10 red chillies, u can increase or decrease as per your taste
5 garlic pods, optional
salt as per taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Take a pan and dry roast groundnuts and red chillies on medium heat. Once they are fried a nice aroma will come and groundnuts will split. Fry the groundnuts for every minute. They should not get burnt, otherwise the taste of the powder will change. Cool after the mixture is fried.
- Then take a mixer jar and put the fried mixture in it, add garlic n salt and grind into a fine powder.
- Store it in air tight container and serve with hot steamed rice with a dash of ghee...
